The Aquamarine 8900Plus Air Mattress is a highly specialized mattress replacement system that is a True Low Air Loss mattress that offers the ultimate in patient comfort and therapeutic pressure care. It is a partial alternating system that is designed for people that need to reduce excess moisture, increase capillary stimulation and achieve the highest levels of continuous comfort. Full Replacement Mattress – Each of the durable Nylon/TPU or TPU cells within the mattress houses two separate air chambers. The top chamber may be set to alternating, static or low air loss, but the bottom chamber is kept inflated in case of short term power failure.

A/B Alternation – The popular A/B alternation system is proven to stimulate capillary action and to assist with the healing of pressure sores. A/B alternation means that when the pressure increases on the first, third and fifth cells (A cells) – it decreases on the second, fourth and sixth (B cells).

At the end of each cycle, which takes approximately ten minutes, the reverse occurs which means that the high and low pressures alternate throughout the mattress.

CPR Valve – The 8900PLUS low air loss Multi-tubes Pressure Relieving System includes an easy to use CPR valve conveniently situated on the side panel. A simple lifting of the switch will deflate the mattress.
